Throughout this week, Burnie's Tom Norton has been putting it all on the line representing his State at the 2018 Canoe Sprint Nationals at Penrith, Sydney.

Tom wouldn't like to say, but his lead up hasn't been ideal. However his steely resolve has seen him post some impressive individual and team performances in the company of world and olympic medallists, Stuart Murray and Ken Wallace.
